It features comfortable sun protection, moisture wicking elasticized sweat band, size adjustable ribbon hat band, and supreme packability. We designed the Rainbow Trout band to celebrate the beautiful fish, now celebrated globally, native to and originating in San Leandro Creek, not far from our factory. It also has an adjustable chin cord that stows at the back of hat with a hooked slider. It's a great all around practical fashion hat for business, travel, or leisure.

The perfect travel hat. I just took this on a week-long whale watching trip. The winds were intense, especially when the boat was speeding along. The brim of the hat flapped around but the hat shows zero signs of wear. The chin strap and the adjustable hat band made for a secure fit. The hat packed well and still looks exactly as it did when I first received it. I ordered the wrong hat initially and SF Hats made the exchange painless - superlative customer service.
This is my second Riverz Techstraw hat, I bought the first one a really stylish Joe Fedora with a black band, twelve or thirteen years ago in England, I wore it a great deal, whenever my head required protection from the sun's UV rays. It finally fell apart this summer following years of being admired and abused, the alternatives that I could find to replace it were utterly dismal by comparison. Following several days of searching online I finally, on following a thread, found San Francisco Hat and was finally able to purchase with the excellent help of Sally at SFH my replacement hat, a Joe Fedora Trout Band, which arrived yesterday. It looks absolutely great, fits like a glove and fills me with delight and has definitely set me up for the next twelve or thirteen years with my new hat
