I bought one of these hats 22 years ago and wore it while guiding on about 25 16-day Grand Canyon river trips. It held up very well, but finally got pretty dirty and had been crushed a few too many times. I recently purchased a new one, and I love it as much as the original one. The hat provides great shade from the sun and it always looks very cool. I constantly get compliments on how great the hat looks--often more about the band than the hat itself!
Not only a beautiful hat, but very well made, and the XXL actually fit my husbands XL head! Excellent customer service - I was personally contacted to ensure shipping information was correct, and we'd receive it on time for his birthday. He is having trouble shaping the hat, it doesn't quite look like the one in the photo (it won't lay flat like that) but working on shaping it.
